Class 12 Physics Practical Copy

Welcome to Class 12 Physics Practical Notes! These notes are all about doing experiments to learn class 11 physics. We’ll use equipment, take measurements, and write down what we find out. The file includes handwritten practicals that have been approved by the subject teacher. It is designed according to the latest syllabus guidelines.

Students in the science stream of grade 12 must perform a physics practical. We need to submit a copy of the practical we did in the lab to our respective subject teacher after completing it. We have a practical book, but it is a pain to copy from it as we must change the present tense to the past tense and make other necessary corrections.

We don’t wish to make any mistakes in the practical copy because of all the unnecessary and excessive data. This problem can be solved by having a practical copy for reference. We have provided you with a PDF of a handwritten practice copy.

Here’s The List Of Experiments Done In Class 12 Physics Practical File

1. Use of a Simple pendulum for the determination of the value of ‘g’ in the laboratory by graphically analyzing the variation of the period of oscillations with the length of the pendulum.

2. Determination of the surface tension of water by capillary tube method by graphically analyzing the variation of the height of the liquid against the diameter of the capillary tube for five capillaries of different diameters dipped in water simultaneously.

3. Determination of the coefficient of viscosity of liquid by Stoke’s method by graphically analyzing the variation of time taken for six metal balls of different diameters to travel the same distance in the given liquid with respect to their diameters.

4. Determination of the wavelength of He-Ne laser light by passing a plane diffraction grating.

5. Determination of the frequency of A.C. Mains using a sonometer and graphic analysis of the variation of the ratio of resonating lengths with respect to the frequency of tuning fork using tuning forks of different frequencies.

6. Determination of velocity of sound in air at NTP using a resonance tube.

7. Use of potentiometer for the

  • Comparison of emf’s of two cells
  • Determination of the internal resistance of a cell

8. Study the variation or resistance of a thermistor with temperature.

9. Use a deflection magnetometer to determine the pole strength and magnetic moment of a bar magnet

10. Determine the magnetic field strength of a bar magnet stuck on the table by graphically analyzing the period of torsional motion of a freely suspended bar magnet and its distance from the near pole of the fixed magnet along its long axis.

11. Study the I-V characteristics of a semiconductor diode.
